The clear housing lets you visually monitor the condition of the cartridge at a glance, so you know when it is time for a replacement. The U25 accepts any standard 10" x 2.5" filter cartridge, including OMNIFilter TO1 (carbon wrap), RS1 (pleated sediment), CB3 (carbon block), and GAC1 (granular activated carbon), giving you the flexibility to address different water quality concerns. The included TO1 cartridge provides a 15,000-gallon capacity and is designed for chlorinated water supplies. Replace approximately every 3 months.
