- This first filter is designed to be a prefilter for your main filter, taking out soaps, oils and other suspended particles before they reach the main filter cartridge. It helps reduce the amount of chemicals needed to maintain spa water including clarifiers, scum removers, cleaners and defoamers.
- High Quality: The first filter is a ten-micron polypropylene filter that magnetizes soaps, body oil, lotions, etc. from the surface of the spa & hot tub to itself and does not let them back into the water.
- Easy to Install: Place the first filter on top of your skimmer basket. Lock first filter tabs into existing slots MAAX Spas skimmer basket.
- Low Maintenance: It is recommended to rinse the First Filter weekly and replace every 3 months or so depending on spa use. But within the three months, you notice the filter has debris on it all you have to do is rinse it with water and it is good to go.
