Details: Welsh Cakes are a tea cake from a time before baking when people cooked over an open fire in their home fireplace. Our cakes are made by hand on griddles as they have been made in Wales for centuries. Our unique family recipe makes our cakes lighter and not particularly high in fat or calories. Usually eaten with tea, coffee, or milk they may be warmed and served with clotted cream and jam or eaten right out of the package.
