Barley starch is a high-quality carbohydrate with long molecular chains. The amylopectin is made according to a patented process, which was specially designed in Sweden for high-performance sports. Amylopectin barley starch is now used in various sports such as tennis, triathlon and other endurance sports as well as in speed strength and pure strength disciplines.
Carbohydrates have an important role as an energy supplier and should make up the majority of the food, i.e. depending on the sport and duration of training, up to 50 percent and more of the total daily calorie intake. The brain even relies on carbohydrates as the only energy source.
Simple sugars or single molecule structures such as maltodextrin, dextrose and/or sucrose increase blood sugar levels very quickly, but unlike long-chain sugars, it also drop off very quickly, which is not really ideal as it provokes a permanent up and down.
It should be started to use amylopectin barley starch 2 days before in preparation for physical exertion (competition or training). Of course, Vitargo can also be taken during a competition or afterwards to replace used carbohydrates.

Suggested use: 4 bags per day during sports activities consume a bag of 200 ml of water every 25-35 minutes.
