Since its creation in 1940, Taragüi yerba mate has been cultivated, harvested, and prepared by true experts. It is produced at Establecimiento Las Marías, which covers more than 30,000 hectares in the Argentine province of Corrientes. Las Marías started in 1924 when Víctor Navajas Centeno challenged the cattle-raising traditions of northeastern Argentina and planted the southernmost yerba mate plantations in the world. Since 1924, the family business Las Marías has provided an excellent quality yerba mate and controls all stages of production, from cultivation to sale.
