Details: Long D1 pen refills fit Chromatic USA double-twist pens from the 1960s and 1970s. Chromatic refills and Chromatic USA pens were originally made by Ritepoint in the 1960s and 1970s. You twist it one way and the blue point protrudes. You twist it the other way and the red point protrudes. They also produced a classic sterling silver version for Tiffany & Co. These refills have the same D1 tips as refills that are used in "multifunction" pens but are much longer. These refills therefore will not work in multifunction pens.
