Details: * The all new RV Battery Lock is designed to provide a secure, lockable steel bracket around the trailer frame battery rack and battery box (padlock required). * Easy to install in less than a minute - no tools needed. * Made with heavy gauge steel and powder coated for durability. * Will help deter thieves from cutting your cables and stealing your expensive batteries. * Fits around the angle iron battery basket and the box. * Fits the 12 volt TALL battery box (including 12 double box) and the 6 volt battery box, which is taller than the standard 12 volt box. This is the non-standard battery. Recommend the NOCO # HM306BK battery box. Check your measurements before purchase. * Dimensions: 12 5/8 H x 8 5/8 W. * Made in the USA. NOTE: This is the battery locking bracket only. Select a quality padlock to place in the top of the bracket once it is installed around the angle iron and battery box. We recommend disc style padlocks. It is not recommended to use the battery bracket without a box. * Order is for 1 bracket only. Please measure your box for the correct fit. We have 2 different size brackets. This one is for the 6 volt / 12 volt TALL bracket and the other one (see our other listings) is for the 12 volt Standard bracket. *TIP: There are many manufacturers of battery boxes, each with slight variances in dimensions. If you find there is a little slack between your bracket and the battery box you may want to place some type of shim between them. In some cases, the nylon strap provided with your box works as a good shim. In other cases, a piece of plywood under the box or a wood / plastic shim on top of the box, but under the bracket, works well. ******You want your box to fit snugly inside the bracket.******Measurements are above for the 6 Volt / 12 Volt Tall bracket.
