Details: Each turntable must have grounding, otherwise an electric hum may occur. If a turntable is not grounded, it may have a different reference potential than the connected amplifier. Subsequently, a compensating current can flow, which in turn can be perceived as a hum. That is why all high-quality turntables have a ground connector that can be connected to standard amplifiers and phono forecasts. Thus, the different reference potentials can be compensated and the electric hum disappears. However, many modern amplifiers, especially amplifiers, often installed in soundbars and streaming speakers, are no longer grounded. Such a non-grounded system is called a "floating mass system". If a standard turntable is connected to such a "floating mass" amplifier, audible buzzing sounds occur. That's why we developed the High Power it power supply.
