- First,please check the outer diameter of your pipes,The outside diameter of 1/2 inch pipe is not 1/2 inch, it is about 0.83 inch (20-21mm),“1/2 inch” is just a standard code. Second,please make sure your elbow size is smaller than the internal dimensions of this pipe repair clamp.
- Note:This pipe repair clamp is not suitable for welded steel pipe elbows,because the welded steel pipe elbow is a long radius elbow which has a larger radius.
