Enable easier drinking for people with reduced ability to suck strongly and prevents air being sucked into user's stomach which can cause pain and discomfort. Straws clip easily onto glasses and cups and can be washed in normal washing solutions or sterilised with boiling water. Not dishwasher safe. Not suitable for thick fluids.
