Details: Otis Elevator emergency key for standard thickness hoistway doors. Double knuckle/2 link drop key. Parts may only be used and installed by certified licensed technicians. We are providing a hoistway-door unlocking device (drop key). As stipulated in the Department of Public Safety Regulations on Elevators, this key shall be made available to and used only by inspectors or persons qualified in the maintenance or repair of the elevators. These safety regulations require you to keep the key in a location where it is not accessible to unauthorized persons.
