- Easy to Set Up: Unroll the alternating pressure pad and lay it flat on the bed with the air connection points at the foot or head, tucking in excess material after inflation. Connect the air hoses to the valves on the pad and pump using the quick connector, then plug the pump into an outlet. Turn the pump on and set the pressure to "Firm" to fully inflate the pad, which takes about 20 minutes (3 cycles). Once inflated, adjust the pressure using the knob, starting at "Firm," and modify it for user comfort.
