Details: Now under third generation ownership, the family-run French company Les Vergers Boiron actually invented frozen fruit puree. Originally intended for use by pastry chefs and bartenders, their all-natural products are now available to home cooks, so they can create magnificent desserts with restaurant-worthy flair. Real passionfruit is meticulously heated and then deep frozen, to retain optimum flavor and texture and create an elegant, tropical foil for tarts, pastries, sorbet, and individual plated desserts.
