Details: The ISR2115V is a short depth rackmount sliding tray or shelf with unique design that can be readjusted to accommodate different application requirement. It is design for small light weight equipment such as keyboard, notebook computer, or network appliance. ISR2115V is design to work with standard 4 post rack cabinet with depth up to 22” deep. Its adjustable depth rear mount brackets are adjustable from 14.5 inch to 22 inch depth. When ISR2115V is fully extended, it has a safety feature to lock itself in place. When the sliding shelf is pull out beyond 9.32”, the stop tab will engage and stops shelf from moving further. This feature also ensures sliding shelf does not closed by itself while in use. By holding down the stop tab, you can fully detach sliding shelf from the rail. Our sliding rail system use a metal clip that clicks when it is in locked position. Most of other low cost sliding shelf manufactures use a plastic clip instead. We believe that using a metal clip is a better choice to ensure our sliding rail stops when it is fully extended. It has many oblong slots on the shelf which can be use with cable strap to secure your equipment. If you need to use it for notebook computer, it has features which allow you to reconfigure the shelf to extend outward 2 additional inch. This is useful in the situation when you do not have the necessary clearance above the sliding shelf to open the notebook LCD monitor screen fully.
