The blend of Irish seaweed extracts, thymol, and lemongrass oil enhances immune function and can revitalize weak and underperforming bees
- Boosts Colony Size: Hive Alive means more bees, more honey, and more success for professional beekeepers as well as hobbyists.
- Apply in Fall and Spring: Feed in fall for a strong colony during overwintering and in spring for colony buildup. Just add 2.5 ml per liter of syrup (2 tsp per gallon of syrup) to feed 1 hive. (100 ml size includes a convenient dosage cap.) We recommend feeding a minimum of 1 gallon of activated syrup per hive. You can also spray as directed or add to fondant or patties for a boost of nutrition
- Prevents Syrup from Fermenting: No need to toss unused or slowly used syrup. The ingredients in Hive Alive prevent fermentation to give you a longer feeding window and you can store any leftovers for future use without worrying about fermentation
- Other Uses: Spray Hive Alive syrup on frames to encourage the bees to clean up old foundation. Add before introducing a new queen to mask scent.
