- This tool wrap is .0020" thick and is 20" wide. A single wrap will do. Use this foil to wrap your knives before heat treating to protect them from damage to decarb or scale.
- Double over all the seams and pound them shut with a hammer. This stuff will cut you like a razor! Be careful when you handle it.
Details: There are some makers that like to put a piece of paper in side of the foil pouch to 'eat up' the oxygen trapped in the pouch. I just don't see the value in that with such a minuscule amount of oxygen sealed in the pouch.
