Details: Huang Bo, Huang Bai, Amur Cork Tree (Phellodendron Chinense) is a deciduous tree up to 15 meters high with a trunk covered with gray or gray-brown cork-shaped bark, dark violet strong branches and a wide crown. The leaves are rather large, light green, pinnate, opposite. The flowers are small, inconspicuous, green, cup-shaped, collected in racemose inflorescences. Fruits are bluish-black, have a shape from round to ellipsoid. The flowering period is May-June; the fruiting period is September-November.
