Details: Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) is a perennial herb with a single stem 50-100 cm high. The lower leaves are narrowed into a petiole; the upper ones are almost sessile. The shape of the leaf blade varies from elliptic (basal leaves) to lanceolate (upper leaves). The inflorescence is dense, paniculate. The flowers are yellow. The diameter of the basket is 10-15 mm. The fruit is a cylindrical achene with a crest.
