Details: Description: This is a very hard to find bean. There is no real substitute in recipes that call for them. This is an easy to grow runner-bean that works best on a good trellis. Plant early so you can collect many dried beans over the course of a season. Here in PA, that means we start on Aug 20th and have them planted out by May 5th. The term plaki refers to a Greek cooking method where the food is baked or roasted with plenty of tomatoes, veggies, and extra virgin olive oil. There are 5 seeds per pack
