Designed with home cooks in mind, this digital cooking thermometer measures between -58-392°F (-50-200°C) and provides both Fahrenheit and Celsius readings, while the rapid-response design provides a fast and accurate reading in 10-15 seconds when measuring temperatures between 32-194°F (0-90°C). The two push buttons make it easy to turn the thermometer on/off and switch between F/C readings, and the LCD display screen is easy-to-read. This versatile cooking thermometer is great for measuring the internal temperature of meats, breads, casseroles, soups, and more for safety and doneness. The flat-sided design stays in place on the countertop between uses - do not leave the thermometer in food during the cooking process. Simply insert the probe at least two inches into the thickest part of meat, away from bones, fat or gristle. For additional disinfecting, wipe probe clean with rubbing alcohol (do not immerse in water). The included protective cover allows the thermometer to be clipped onto pockets, extends your reach while in use, and protects the probe for storage. One L1154 Alkaline Cell Battery is included and installed so you can start using it right away.
