These brackets are a direct replacement for the failed Dewalt DW7231 mounting bracket. The DWX series base stand is a great product with a terrible design flaw. That fragile release lever on the DW7231 bracket. We have engineered and manufactured these to live up to the "HEAVY DUTY" tag established by Dewalt.
