This vent is not rated for dryer ventilation, the screen will trap lint and could create a fire risk. Quality constructed from heavy duty 16 ounce, 24 gauge copper. The FAMCO SDWVCU wall vent includes a ⅛ inch mesh screen to prevent duct intrusion by foreign objects, as well as a built-in hinged backdraft damper.
