Details: DIAMANT Polymer Dichtol AM Hydro for sealing and impregnation of 3D prints, sealant for additive manufacturing, sealer for 3D printed parts Dichtol AM Hydro is a high-performance polymer specially developed for additive manufacturing processes. It is perfect for 3D printing using filaments or powder-based processes. This water-based, solvent-free 1-component system enables permanent sealing and impregnation of workpieces made of common materials such as PLA, ASA, ABS and polyamide. In contrast to conventional sealants, dichtol AM Hydro penetrates deep into the fine pores and hardens there. The highly elastic polymer forms a reliable and durable seal, even at changing temperatures. This not only seals the surface, but also impregnates the inside of the component. This not only improves surface finishing, but also the fundamental properties of additively manufactured workpieces, such as dirt sensitivity and dimensional stability. The application of Dichtol AM Hydro is simple and can be done manually without additional machines or equipment. The transparent polymer is simply applied, or the printed 3D object is immersed in the sealant. This means that even hard-to-reach areas are sealed gas- and liquid-tight. After curing, dichtol AM Hydro is colourless and effectively protects the component.
