- Hot & Cold Therapy - Comfpack gel ankle ice pack can be used for both hot and cold therapy. Cooling the ice pack in freezer for 4 hours for cold compress or heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds for hot compress. When taken out of the freezer, it may be very cold. It is recommended that you leave it for 5 minutes and wear socks before using it.
