Details: The iconic 1996 Grand Sport Hood / Fender Emblem has been out of production for many years and existing stock of the original emblems have long since been exhausted. When a rare emblem does occasionally surface for sale, they usually sell for well in excess of $100 each. Now at long last, the Grand Sport Registry has produced a quality reproduction that is identical to the GM original in every respect *except* for the long mounting prongs on the back. Our reproduction comes with 3M automotive grade double-sided tape pre-affixed to the back of the emblem which will securely adhere to any clean surface. By losing the mounting prongs, our reproduction emblem is ideal for affixing to awards, photos, and plaques as well as multiple other uses in addition as a replacement hood/fender emblem. Put one on your tool box, brief case, or wherever you want to show off your love for this very special Corvette. Highest quality, injection molded chrome plated plastic with embossed "GRAND SPORT" lettering in Red and Black indistinguishable from the original. Precisely sized at 5.5" x 9/16".
